Aufgabenstellung:
How can we experience the invisible movements of our bodies?
Hertz is an interactive light installation which reacts to the involuntary movement of your heart.
A centrical rotating and blinking LED bar is controlled by the connection of the beholder with the installation.
The incoming signal of a pulse sensor defines the speed of the rotation and the intensity of the light. Each heartbeat equates to a 360° rotation. Creating an intimate situation between you and the functions of your own body, this projects sheds some light on the almost forgotten movements we can hardly control.
